An afternoon with a wide variety of material including a brief tribute to the last of the great D'Oyly Carte patter song artists, some wonderful new material that has arrived, older material we have not aired in quite some time, and our usual features and nostalgia section.

Mention was made about a truly interesting and surprising concert at the Tarrytown Music Hall on April 24 which will feature The Work O' The Weavers, The Klezmatics, Theresa Tova, Rob (Woody) Tepper, Pete Seeger, and Fred Hellerman. Some other surprises are in store and you can check the link to THE TARRYTOWN MUSIC HALL for ticket information. Some of the participants will be my guests on April 4.

PLAYLIST SUNDAY SIMCHA & TRADITIONS FEBRUARY 28,2010

This was week 4 and the final week of our annual fund-raising efforts for the station on both of the programs. Due to that and all the activity surrounding the programs this day it was impossible to put a playlist together but given the volume of calls on both programs it seems that they were well received.

Playlists will resume March 7.

Many thanks to all our loyal listeners who supported the programs with pledges both large and small---and each one as meaningful as the other. Those who still feel the desire to support the program merely send an e mail to sundaysimcha@yahoo.com and specify which program you pledging ---also include a name, address, and phone number so that we may contact you in case of a problem and also to send you your premium(s).
