As you know next week WFDU,  this, and all the programs on WFDU come to you for our annual fund raising request---AND---this only happens 1 time a year (unlike other stations).   The station surely knows how to stretch a dollar---we start with no pay for on-air staff (personalities if you will).   But, the dollar is stretched quite well since the station truly has state of the art facilitities---thanks to you---our listeners---our electronic family.  All that said,  let me tell you of an easy way to KEEP YIDISHKEIT ON THE AIR.    You can call me during the next few Sundays and support the station that does that (and does it only if they know there is support) or you can go to the website  http://www.wfdu.fm/ and click on Money Matters---and you can make, not only, a secure on line pledge, but you may also select the program you are supporting.  You will also receive a 40th Anniv. T-Shirt (light sweatshirt---so sweat lightly) if you pledge $50.00 or more and are among the 1st 150 pledgers.  More importantly---KEEPING YIDDISHKEIT ON THE AIR.   WFDU.   Ask them if they want to make a bumper sticker like that.
