My thanks for all the e mail comments regarding today's comedy corner---yes Lou Jacobi was one of a kind and Myron Cohen gave us humor from another era.  If you remember it---you, as I, are OLD.   A simpler time---perhaps but I don't think editorializing on that is germane since things do change.  But, one last thought;  humor should, besides being funny, make a point---Lenny Bruce did, Richard Pryor did, and ever so many more as distinct to today's joke jocks of junk.

I hope you will be joining the festivities this Sunday at Noontime in New City NY on the grounds of the Ambulance Corps. (and presented by the Borderline Folk Music Club) when we pay honor to Si Kahn.  He was a guest on Sunday Simcha and my other programs a while back.  This is a FREE concert---rain or shine.  Just bring some vittles for yourselves and your friends.

Si Kahn, as you know, has been a guest on the program and also on my other programs.  Not his real claim to well deserved fame (I don't know about fortune) but I do hope you will be in New City NY (Ambulance Corps. Grounds) on 8/26 as the Borderline Folk Music Club honors him in this all afternoon FREE event where he will perform, lead some singing, and be joined by a bevy wonderful performers doing his and their music.   I have the distinct honor of introducing Si--not that he really needs any introduction.
