Fund Raising February is over and the playlists are resuming but first, my sincere thanks for all your support and thanks to that we both---you and I have, I believe, kept YIDDISHKEIT ON THE AIR--WFDU---and also assured the ongoing "keeping up with the technological times".
Now- to today's program which was truly a meaning moment. As you know I read a brief piece from my grandson's Bar Mitzvah speech. The part that refers to the 97 year old Knud Christiansen who was one of the "Righteous" from Denmark and is being helped by the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous ( http://www.jfr.org/ )and also helps in keeping these memories alive for future generations.
