Our fund raising efforts have ended and the playlists that begin on 2/24 will once again be posted. My thanks to all of you who have so generously supported the program---and, truly, that is what keeps it on the air and in the time slot we have. Let me say that it benefits us all---I like doing this program and, as you, discovering music and people I may not have been that familiar with some time ago and also your having a comfortable musical morning that you expect.
On Feb. 24 you will have the pleasure of hearing a chat (and some music from the film) with Roberta Grossman. She is the Producer/Director and creator of the wonderful film that opens in NYC on March 1---HAVA NAGILA, THE MOVIE. It is truly a wonderful piece of work and you will, as I did, just be overwhelmed with the music and the commentary---and, certainly, with HARRY BELAFONTE who made this the world wide sensation it became. Here is a sample of the film from the trailer----Harry Belafonte is not in this---he is not to be missed in the film. As the film maker said in our chat---"...the most gracious and electrifying person she has ever interviewed...".
