One of the most requested Comedy Corner routines--aside from Allan Sherman is Shelley Berman. Especially is routine about the actor son and the delicatessen owning father. If you click on the right side you will find some of his routines from man years back---not that one.

Above that you will find another comic that we have played on Sunday Simcha many a time---Robert Klein. But he is--as is Shelley Berman---more than a "comic"

You will note that they are dated---think of this. You call a department store now or any large company and what happens---you get prompts---all automated and then some boring music. In his day--and mine and many of you--you got "hold". But you did get a person.
