I know that one of the Barry Sisters (the last one) has passed on and her loss is mourned but it was not mentioned on the program due to the time frame the program was or is in but let me assure the writer of various notes to me she is not forgotten---at this time. The writer mourns her and I am sure all of her fans do as well. A long life. Would that we all were all so blessed.
I hope the writer reads this so she---yes she, who supports the program w/ her interest and not financially as many of you do, now realizes that I have also mourned the loss of this icon of Yiddish music.
