TRADITIONS PLAYLIST March 11, 2007

It was amazing how fast one hour went by and we hardly made a dent into RR songs. Some of you called to say you could not believe the hour was already over.

There are all types of trains---not only the one you see above. Think Subways, Mule Trains, Underground Railroads---the list goes on.

I was happy to honor a request which lead to some requests for some great old country material.

Modern Man explains why I do not play Dylan.

As it is said by the famous "they" a good time was had and a few message, hopefully, also crossed the ether.

Let me not neglect the mention of 2 wonderful CDs that have come in and are so meaningful and, musically, brilliant. Susan Werner's "The Gospel Truth" and the wonderful 70th Birthday celebration of Peggy Seeger.

But--we start with a tip of the wristwatch to Daylight Time.

Loved the train business---do more of that from time to time---and all those great "old" country stars.
