TRADITIONS PLAYLIST March 25, 2007

Any comments, requests, questions are always welcome. Please e mail: wfdutraditions@yahoo.com

It is hoped that you appreciated the wonderful featured CD by Joel Mabus-- The Banjo Monologues as well as our step back into folk and country radio --then called hillbilly--and how it evolved to the present. WFDU has in its vast archives a particular piece that not only I--but Paul Bain (our C/W host) have lost over the years---and it was my request in the 1950s---submitted by postcard---Red Foley and The Sugarfoot Rag.

If you have any requests let us do it now the modern way---e mail to the above address. They will be honored.

Some other truly interesting things were featured and judging by the calls today were well received. Some music addressing the great exhibition at the Museum of The City of New York relating to the Spanish Civil War and New Yorkers.

In addition to the thematic material we had some wonderful new CDs to present to you.

At this point perhaps you might like a rogues gallery of our artists in the "Old Time Radio Set". The newer ones we leave out for space reasons:
