PLAYLIST TRADITIONS MAY 31, 2009

First of all---a solemn and meaningful Memorial Day to you all--the real one which was yesterday.

Today we had some really interesting items, I believe. I hope you who listened agreed. A bevy of new works, a nice trip down memory lane and then, of course, the time spent with the wonderful Calypso group of yore---THE TALBOT BROTHERS. On June 7 Clement Talbot--a family member and a leading executive at the Bank of Bermuda will be my guest. He was the guiding light in putting together the project I spoke of---and played from--today.

As to the new works. How delighted I was to be able to debut some of the following---Buskin and Batteau, Diane Jones, Joe Price, and Tom Chapin---amongst others.
